Scratchie
Awesome fishing up there especially that time of year. Everything up there is supersized, even the garfish are the size of cricket bats! Although, I only ever fish up there from a boat. There are plenty of beaches to fish from and I'm sure there would be some good platforms to fish from. Ill check with the boys up here and get back to you! Cheers scratchie!!! nickb111
Yeah some local knowledge would be great! Is it north enough to get the Queensland pelagics like spaniards Mack tuna etc coming through?

Scratchie
Ok. Spoke with some local boys today and they reckon seal rocks is an awesome place to fish land based. That time of year you can get snapper, king, longtail, cobia etc from the stones. You can fish right in front of the lighthouse for these species or try any of the headlands. From the beach is a good place to target flatty and whiting. Plenty of places there to fish LB! Good luck and enjoy! Cheers scratchie!!!
