Towlersbay boy
Hi Raiders Went out last Sunday for a flick to test the new 2500 Certate that finally arrived. Managed to find some decent snapper about 100 meters SE of Trawleys reef with biggest going just on 60cm. We then tried out the front of Bangalay head which was dead bar micro kings and some big acres on sounder which didn't want to play. Found a big school of slimies NE of Newport reef that had some small kings on them along with pike and reefies. We moved in closer to find an angry pack of rat to just legal kings getting around just out the front of the washes in 4-10m of water Having pinned a few on plastics and had some larger units follow up we tried live baits but the rats were so ferocious they were getting slammed seconds from hitting the water. Got a 130cm one on a live salmon not that long ago think I will give that a crack next time. The wind came up so we headed back to the ramp. Good luck this weekend everyone !! Towlersbay boy
Yeah mate holding on the bottom in about 21m of water. Got most of the fish on a squidy shrimp in brown. Cheers
