Graphite Or Fiberglass

Hey guys, i was wondering what you all think on which kind of rod is more durable flexible and catches more fish, i think graphite for smaller fish as you can feel the bites better and stronger fiberglass rods as the fish get bigger.

Well IMHO it depends what you want to use the rod for ? If you're looking for a 12ft surf or rock fishing rod then probably fiberglass is the way to go, being more durable.

If you looking for a light rod, for bream spinning etc then graphite is the material to go for. Being light and sensitive.

fibreglass is much more durable, graphite is lighter and more responsive.

i'm a fan of glass/graphite composite rods as they give the benefit of durability with reduced weight, especially with the longer rods that i have. most of these have a composite butt section with a glass tip.
