PRED-ATOR
Hi Raiders, Had a few hours up my sleeve sunday arvo. Conditions werent the best but time for fishing is a luxury these days. Had a quick flick down at bayview for a small bream, tailor and flatty. Honestly, all the big flatties from that area are all but gone. And it drives me insane, the amount of long-liners down there fishing for tadpoles. I have reported so many people yet they still show up. Also, there is a massive boat which seems to have ran aground! Anyone know the story behind this? On the way home, stopped by the lake for a quick wave of the wand and picked up 2 carp, not monsters but chunky fish. Hope everyone had a great Christmas, Cheers, Stan. nbdshroom
Nice one Stan, some respectable fish there. Were the carp taken on bread flies? I'm hoping to get some of this kind of fishing ticked off over this summer.
PRED-ATOR
Yeah mate just bread flies. The best time is when the sun is just going down on hot days i found. I have seen them taking other stuff off the surface but havent really found anything to immitate it yet. Cheers
