Put a mate of Mark's onto his first ever fish and another mate onto his first fish in Australia. Would have been nice to have something for the table, but the sheer sport of a hard fighting Aussie salmon is hard to beat. How do these puppies compare with the sambos in NZ?? I think everyone would agree an excellent sport fish. :thumbsup: The typical size I see in posts is similar to here And as for the Bay of Islands........its why i dont have much light gear.
