gday raiders

a couple of weeks ago me and my mate jordan (sydney_fisho) were fishing for bass around his area we were having a tough day so we went looking for new water we hit the jackpot finding a new long creek we fished it for the rest of the day but got nothing we believed that was because of the low barrometer on that day 1009.

on saturday gianni and jordan went to the new spot and he pulled a nice bass of 32cm on a zman slim swimz

Very nice man! I love exploring creeks and walking new water. Great way to fish. Good to see you getting a few as well they're some healthy looking fish keep it up.

Well done bud! Healthy-looking fish, bet they put up a good fight. Do bass tend to smash on the drop like bream?

you don't usually let the lure sink its usually a constant wind with a few flicks or jerks. they hit out of no where and its a really aggressive take. mine came back on 5 casts before i hooked him right at my feet they sit deep in snags wait for food to come pass and smash it they don't follow it like bream

Nice work guys.

It's great finding new spots, a bit of urban exploration.

You know there are bass within 10kms or less from your place.

Not to mention carp, and large exotic goldfish.

Strictly lures and flies, and no landbased, you have to go early and take the kayak.

Top stuff fellas. Give the surface lures a crack late one hot arvo or early in the morning. You'll really love the Bass then!
