boattart
Well I suppose I have posted about catching them so got to own up to missing out yesterday. Water was average at best . 22.9 to 23.3 from the heads to 400fm and little to no change in colour. Bait was deep in close but started to build up from 80 fm to 160fm. Flying fish still around but scattered although found a nice school of stripies in 140fm but moving fast and hard to stay with. On the way in another boat in 85fm had a bait ball push to the surface and had a double hook up on Striped marlin but both jumped off. As we got closer in 72 fm we hooked an angry Black around 60-70kg but he didn't stay on for long and soon threw the hooks. The water is changing on a day by day basis at the moment so back out next week for another look if the weather holds up.
