DaleB
Hi All, Have to pickup some leader this afternoon, picked up a new beach setup a few weeks ago and keen to give it a run this week, 12foot rod, 8000 reel, 20lb line and looking at 30-40lb leader, Will be fishing wollongong area and sometimes north (collaroy etc), Im thinking fluro carbon but Ive had no experience in the past 8 or 9 years, so any advice would be appreciated to got along with my 20lb mono line. Im not sure if I want to look at 30lb or 40lb and if the fluro yellow makes much difference over the clear, Cheers all for any advice
Crossfire63
Mate Black Magic 40lb tough trace for dealing with things with teeth or Jinkai 40lb if you can find it. The only two I use off the beach

guimaras
I've used both Black Magic and Jinkai and both do the job well. If I were to choose between them(price not an issue), I would probably go Jinkai. Somehow, I notice the BM doesn't "age" well...but is way cheaper than Jinkai.
