andysinmexico Posted April 8, 2015 Share Posted April 8, 2015 Is it on a trailer ? Is trailer registered and in a condition that can be towed ? Are you looking to have it loaded onto a truck ? Make sure your boat insurance is rock solid as freight/transport companies and their "insurance" are nearly impossible to claim on in the event of damage, if they offer it at all. I had them bring down my newly built 3 T noosacat on trailer bed from Noosa to sydney and deliver it from their depo once they used their crane to lift it off also cost $2k but that was based on size and height /weight etc i will try find pic when they loaded it check their website http://boatterminal.com.au/ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Testlab Posted April 12, 2015 Share Posted April 12, 2015 Pick up from depot, around $1K. Delivered to your door, around $2K. My best advice arrange and pay for your own transport insurance. Your regular boat insurance does not cover commercial transport on a truck or float. The carriers insurance will not cover damage unless it's their negligence (such as it falling off the truck).
