alexit
I have finally got around to getting my boat insurance sorted..... the good guys at Yabbie are helping out on Monday. Now today I ring Club Marine to get some more info and they give me an estimate of what I may be up for .....say the valuation comes in at $7000 that will be $420 odd a year. Bit on the high side me thinks but it has to be done. Anyway, just now on another forum a guy mentions his $45,000 valuation comes in at $476 odd p/a????? Club Marine lines are closed now so I cannot find out if the differing figures are due to a homebuilt craft or what. I do live in the inner city but come on...really? So anyone care to compare with those figures? alex Edited September 23, 2005 by alexit

The Rabbit
Just Insured mine $27000.00 with ClubMarine cost me $400.00 Quote from GIO for same thing was $560.00 (and that was with multi policy discount) I think GIO may have taken a claim I made on the car into account because they asked about any insurance cliams in the last five years. Guest iain
Ring around. Different companies use different criteria to calculate the premium. I found a 100% difference in price between insurers.
