I fished Pitwater last Friday by myself at the old faithful spot that always seems to produce fish. I caugh my second biggest ever Aussie Salmon with the help of another fisherman who offered to net it for me. It went 67 cm. That day I also caught a 42 cm Tailor, a Blue Swimmer Crab and a 31 cm Bream that was released. I hooked something awesome straight after I caught the Salmon. After a long fight it cut my line underneath the wharf. I was using 5 kg main line with a 13.5 kg leader but it still wasn't enough to stop this massive critter.

Today I fished the same spot with my brother. I caught a 31 cm Bream and two Trevally around 32 cm. I also met an old bloke who was with his wife. I witnessed him catching a massive 49 cm Black Bream. I said to him he should take a photo and send it to the Sydney News paper weekend fishing competition. I think it would go very close to being a Fish Raider Black Bream record.

Right at the end of the day my brother caught a respectable 27 cm bream. I was hoping for some King Fish and they did show up. I brought much heavier gear today in hope of catching one but they were very fussy. My brother hooked one but with his light outfit he had little to chance of landing it. Maybe next time we can finally get one. We packed up around 4 pm and headed home.
