Hazey Ben Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Hey all, just after some advice on a new beach/rock rod. Will be chasing the usual bread and butter species but would love to handle a jewie and even some pigs off the rocks. Was looking at the 6-10kg range. Does anyone have some recommendations on some one piece rods suited for alveys? Cheers, Ben
Crossfire63 Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Have a look at a Wilson Livefibre 13'6 Trophy Surf or the good old Snyderglas 6144 Low Mount. Either one will do the job just fine
Hazey Ben Posted May 18, 2015 Author Posted May 18, 2015 How about the Wilson live fibre 12' 8-10kg? Is this too heavy off the beach for the more common species?
Crossfire63 Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Ben No It'd be fine , I use the 13'6 version for all but the heaviest fishing
