SZ1
Hi guys, I'm planning on going for a hairtail bash this Saturday night. I was wondering if I can get some info on which ramp to use. I would prefer to use Apple tree however I rang the park up and they informed me that the gate will close and don't want it be locked in, can someone please advise if the gate to the park does in fact lock and at what time? Or should I be using parsley bay? Also would Waratah bay be the place to be? Thank you all in adanced.
Guest
Jerusalem Bay is where you want to be and either ramp is ok but Apple tree is easier in the dark IMHO
Scratchie
The gates are generally locked at appletree and requires a fee for memory to have them unlocked. Great ramp and as swordy said easy to launch. Parsley bay is well lit and I've launched solo there before but is a little more difficult. No fees apply there. Probably the same distance to JBay from either ramp! Cheers scratchie!!! mike2153
I've used Apple tree bay till 1030 and the gates aren't shut? Plenty of people launching from there for hairtail. My mate tells me it's never shut?

Lagos
Only the toilet block side of the car park is being locked at night. Other side (the creek side) is always Open.
