GoingFishing Posted May 28, 2015 Share Posted May 28, 2015 So I'm looking for a vote from anyone who is interested in helping After reading a positive report in the reports section I'm wondering if a trip out to the Botany Wide FAD is worth a shot this time of year. I am split 50/50 The forecast for Saturday looks spot on, so considering this: Pros - possible chance at Mahi or Tuna - forecast good weather making the trip comfortable in a boat of my size/configuration - blue water = stress relief Cons - requires an early wake up in the freezing cold - if unsuccessful It leaves little time left for redemption back in the bay - greater petrol consumption So what's your vote ? Towlersbay boy Posted May 29, 2015 Share Posted May 29, 2015 If the water is under 22 degrees you could be pushing it. Water temp charts look like a mixed bag out there at the moment.
