Great conditions on Saturday the water was like a milk pond. Talking to little scratchie I thought I might try the artificial weed fly.

Using a two hook rig I had real wire weed on one and the fly on another. I ended up with 6 keepers with lots of throw backs. Probably a third of the catch was with the fly so they do work.

I liked it because you knew you always had a bait in the water even after a couple of downs. Got two double hook ups as well.

I had some downs with my ebay flys. They do work.

Good work with the flies. Look like decent fish.

great work mate! great too know about the weed flys and having two hook rig is a great idea that I'm gonna give a crack! look like some good sized luderick too!
