Fab1
Hi guys,As many of you guys know I have a small runabout that could do with some more storage up under the bow.Ideally I would like to have my life jackets and tackle stored under there to allow easy access.Im thinking of building a false front with a shelf and draw system with sliding doors but am concerned about the added weight up front. I've thought about a cargo net setup which would be good for the jackets but doesn't solve my tackle storage needs. I'm weighing up also removing the front pedestal seats and building storage seat boxes and mounting seats on top. Anyone with a small boat knows the constant battle for space and would like to know what works/doesn't work for you guys no mater how silly it may seem so I can make a decision. Cheers guys. Fab1
Thanks mate but I have a storage compartment I made under my rear bench and was looking at filling that unused space under the dash. I thought about another bench up front and the one that you pictured looks great but I bet it ain't cheap. What boat do you have with that bench up front? Thanks. Ric001
That seat is excellent. Would really like one of those for tackle and tool kit down the back. I use a cargo net up front for spare life jackets etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
locodave
I had a 4.1m, gave up. I had to do gymnastics while fishing. Bought a bigger boat. Best thing
