  1. Great work mate! I won’t be making any as I’m afraid if my mrs finds mine she’ll attach them to me to stop me getting “lost” in the tool stores or out on the golf courses. Paracord aka McGyver string. If only women knew they could make one that only reaches out the door and to the letterbox to stop hubby getting lost down the pub.

Don’t get me started on insurance companies. My car got wiped out Jan and still waiting. They are quick to take your money though. No water damage here except for it filling the pool up 6 inches.
  4. Agree 100% but I’d still sand/scuff the existing substrate before applying paint to anything that’s painted, wash down with sugar soap and hit it with primer and paint.
  5. Depends how old and flaky the paint is. I’ve removed flaky paint with a 1800psi gerni and some wood along with it in places. They can rip off more than you want to remove if not careful. My question is are you planing on sanding and painting eaves from the ground also? If you do you’re going to want inspector gadget arms.My suspicions is a 3000psi will rip most of it off easy. Personally if single story which I assume it is if set up a scaffold and work from that you will be standing only a metre or so from ground.
  6. I’d be giving your lawn a core aerate and throw some 80/20 topdressing mix on it and down the core holes with a lawn levelling rake. IMG_1243.mov You can hire a machine, have it done or do it yourself like this idiot.I wonder who that idiot in video is?😅
  7. You’ll find all types of grass get eaten by grubs it’s just some are hardier than others .In my experience blue couch and couch are probably the worse and kikuyu and buffalo the hardier varieties.
  8. It got leaf scorched it didn’t kill the roots.Doesn't take long doing that or having kids pools on the lawn etc.Its a good way to kill weeds in garden beds when establishing a new garden.
  9. Fair enough. If it’s a running type grass like couch or kikuyu even a nuclear holocaust won't kill it don’t worry. Its coming to the end of the grass growing season as night time temps are dropping and grass will slow down.
  10. If you and stewy are not on to it Acelypryn is your friend and make sure you destroy the cocoons under eaves etc.Keep an eye out for moths also.
  11. Bifenthrin and Acelypryn always win wars.

    Men's shed ?

I have a 12m x 6m shed in the backyard that over the years has kept us all amused and well hydrated with various alcoholic beverages for hours on end and at times all day when having BBQ’s etc. Over the years I’ve had a full size billiard table, table tennis table, air hockey table, dart board, and up until recently an indoor driving range. All those years of fun times and great laughs I’ll never forget. These days I only have my dart board in there and gym along with all my tools, gardening gear etc. And I have a bed in there for my new mate that I adopted after the neighbours moved and left him behind. I think he’s a happy little camper now.
  13. You guys are amateurs.I don’t get to the water for MONTHS these days. I’m seriously debating letting my boat go even though it costs peanuts to own. Life and Family find a way to ruin everything at times.
  14. That thwart(seat) and the back one will be bracing that boat giving it rigidity and buoyancy. I’d move along and find something else unless you want to remove and have bracing welded in .
  15. Something like this then buying wheels and tyres to suit will get you out of trouble.
