will_l
Hi, I was looking at the 445f but being so rare, incase I cant get a good one within the next 6 months, whats a good alternative in terms of performance, size and cost. Budget is around 18k. Thanks a lot, Will
Guest no one
So everyone else doesnt have to google exactly what you're asking: 445F is a Haines Hunter Center Console which is 4.45m long.
will_l
Thanks a lot for that ^. And its also known as one of the best riding hull's for its size Edited November 2, 2015 by will_l
amkr
is that size a restriction? If you add 40cm, it will open you up to a few other boats of similar design.
Shiremm
What about a 1703 centre console Trophy
Welster
is that size a restriction? If you add 40cm, it will open you up to a few other boats of similar design. And give you some extra flexibility with life jackets.
will_l
About 5 - 5.1m would be my restriction as I will be launching myself a few times.
Spudly
Biggest issue with launching is the trailer! Big boat is easy to launch if you have the right trailer! I also agree, get it over 4.8m

You sure youre legal to tow a 5m boat? And can afford 18k? And then legally drive the boat? Or are you just trolling us?
amkr
I think green P's you can tow whatever you want. Affordability is none of our business though - I made some stupid financial decisions at 18 :/

I can tow 250kg tare on my P's, 12k will be by me (I have a Job for last 2 years + saved christmas/birthday money) and 6k by my parents (they will also be using it) 18k is my absolute limit. Would prefer to be around 10-15. And I do have my full boat licence... Edited November 2, 2015 by will_l

martymonsta
If you are after a 4.5m Centre console why not a 4.5m Polycraft? Should be able to find a nice one with a 4stroke outboard for under $15k & if you're lucky a 4.8m Brumby for around $18k. Marty
Busy-livin
launching solo is a breeze mate trust me dont let that worry you with a bigger boat at all !!!.. comes down to prep, trailer depth most people sink them way too deep and then there is simple PRACTICE. but +1 for the trophy's !! but they can also be hard to find. Never said they were in Sydney, just said I found 4 on Google within the first page of my search results. If you are solid on getting one, Melbournes only a 9 hour drive away!
