Freddy-the-EEL~~~?
Hi, Im getting my alloy boat soda blasted, and thinking of leaving it unpainted. Was wondering if I should treat it with something after the soda blast? Thanks?

Overdraft
Hey mate How big is your boat? Do you mind telling us how much it's costing ? I am thinking of doing the same thing.
BWV
Leave it bare, aluminium naturally oxidises and that layer of oxidisation that forms will provide a protective barrier against the elements and protect the alloy under neath it. Down side is it can look ordinary. You can constantly polish the boat if you prefer to maintain a shine. Ric001
If you are considering a respray, do it as soon as possible after the soda so that the Aluminium doesn't oxidise too much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
