mii11x
So I am thinking of replacing the trebles on my soft vibes to singles to make it easier to get the lure out of a fish. What hooks do you guys use when swapping out trebles to singles? I mainly use jackall transams and jackall mask vibes

Crossfire63
Depends on how big and how strong you want them for what your fishing for. I use 6/0 and 7/0 for chasing meter plus barra. They'd be good for kings but you can down size them if your chasing salmon and tailor

mii11x
Crossfire, I bought them with the intention of fishing for jews - which I more often than not release, had a problem with a soapie and trebles, hence I am thinking a single would probably be the go......the soapie did swim off after a swimming it a little, not bleeding or anything, just had to do some exploritory surgery through the gills
Crossfire63
Mate I've got a heap or Warlocks and Croaker hard bodies which I've taken the trebles off and fitted with VMC 5/0 singles for exactly the same reason. Never had one straighten
