Tulz
Hit a local Wollongong beach on Saturday night to chase some Jew. Fished the hour before and after the high tide in a nice gutter. Beached this little fella just after the top of the tide on a fresh slimey fillet. Not a monster at 75cm but my first for the year. Poor bugger had tangled with something bigger, you'll notice the chunk missing behind the dorsal fin.Nothing doing apart from this with my bigger baits being picked apart. swano
Nice work mate, I still haven't cracked a Jewie from around Wollongong after numerous attempts. Your report restores my faith, just gotta find the right beach on the right night. Might have been the full moon?

RexSenior
A Jew is a Jew! Great effort and a legal one at that! Looks like something had a crack at the mouth area too or is that just the photo? Anyway it's great to hear people are hooking up!
Tulz
Was a snelled 2 hook rig. Sand on the mouth, hence it looking like it had been grabbed there.
