ok just wondering if someone can tell me what is daiwa's answer to shimano's saragosa

Dont think they really need an answer. They make up for that in the huge range of quality bream reels that shimano dont challenge like the caldia, certate, exist, steez, luvius so on. Shimano have strengths and so do daiwa, they are just in different areas i guess.

hey i'm a shimano man BUT if daiwa do a better reel for the money i will buy that but it doesn't look like it

Het mate. I don't know the latest prices but tell us what Daiwa reels are about the same price and I'll tell you my choice.

And also what you will be using it for.

it will be a 10000 spooled with 50lb braid and going on my terez 30-50lb rod for kings

and as for daiwa prices i have now idea .

I just looked at the price of the Saragosa. There is nothing in the Daiwa SW range that I would buy in that price range. Anything less than the Catalina has soft gears that don't last from my experience.

If I could only spend $300 I would get the Saragosa. If you want a better reel and spend more, get the Isla or Catalina depending on the ratio you want.

if i wanted and could afford better it would be a stella but the saragosa has some of it's features so for the money the saragosa

thanks mate , yep i seen that on sneaky but i will be aiming for the 10000 but it will be a couple of months
