Dont think they really need an answer. They make up for that in the huge range of quality bream reels that shimano dont challenge like the caldia, certate, exist, steez, luvius so on. Shimano have strengths and so do daiwa, they are just in different areas i guess.

I just looked at the price of the Saragosa. There is nothing in the Daiwa SW range that I would buy in that price range. Anything less than the Catalina has soft gears that don't last from my experience.

If I could only spend $300 I would get the Saragosa. If you want a better reel and spend more, get the Isla or Catalina depending on the ratio you want.
