I had today off work with the intent of hitting the Harbour and just squiding as much as I can. So Mum Dad and myself hit the water at 6, motored down the parramatta river into the Harbour. We flicked a few jigs round early out the front of the zoo to no avail, except me losing a jig [emoji35] So we switched spots and a different tactic. Using 8lb braid on a 1000 sienna, 8lb leader and a shimano sonic pro 3-5kg. Multiple drifts over the next hour and dad and myself come up 0-0. Mum however 3 squid. Must be birthday luck right? The biggest going over 840mm outstretched! Absolute horse! None the less I'm stoked for mum, smile on her face says it all. Cheers raiders!!
