rookiefisher
just moved to Putney and am right near the parra river and wondering if it is worth kayak fishing around this area or even land based. If the area fishes well any tips or hint as to where I should go or technique I should use. Any help would be great Charlie
fragmeister
Hi Charlie, Not the most productive part of the river but casting soft plastics at the various structure should get you into some bream and the bridge structure is always a chance for a jewie on the turn of the tide. A little further down in Kissing Point Bay you can drift over the flats for flathead and whiting particularly in summer. Not recommended eating west of the bridge of course!
