budzsta
Hey raiders! I'm sure most of you know that walking into a tackle shop often means many arguments with the significant other on 'how many squid jigs do you need!!' And so on... I was wondering what people's opinions are if you were ONLY allowed 4 rod reel combos (I just heard a bunch of you gasp in horror of only owning 4 rod reel combos) What 4 would you have? Adsy91
I thought about this for a good half hour and really tried to give a response but I just can't do it! Haha instead I can give you the one rod and reel I can't afford but want very badly- Daiwa Battler (one in every size possible) and a big fat Saltiga...used them both and they are absolutely phenomenal. Guest
If you are serious about your gear ......you will have many outfits for every occasion and even flyrods and if you haven't got it you have mates that do. I don't own any heavy game fishing gear but the blokes I fish with have a full set. I have every set up from 1 to 3kg spin stik to 60kg popper stiks and all in between and beach rods and 5,8.9 and 12wt flyrods and blackfish gear and yes I am addicted. Oh I forgot I have two heavy jig set ups as well and a handline and two dedicated baitcasting rods for cod

sharknett
"If you could only take 4 outfits per trip, what would they be" may be an easier question.
budzsta
But then it would really depend on the trip right?
