DrChicken Posted May 30, 2016 Share Posted May 30, 2016 (edited) The missus wanted to go to the park for the afternoon so I stashed a pen reel into her backpack before we took off down to bicentennial park, with small long shanks and fresh prawn. Lots of small ones (bream, whiting) before I got a decent pull - kept the drag on loose so the rod didn't snap (it's surprisingly sturdy).
