St george basin

About to go out for the weekend to the basin, going to try and use some lures, also was going to have a look at some land based fishing off some beaches or rock fishing?

Now i dont know much about crabbing, havnt really been crabbing apart from up near nambucca heads with mates, but does anyone know if crabs are kicking now or is it the wrong time, if so any places to get some crabs, blue swimmers or muddies up near the basin, just for future reference.?

Crabs are a summertime thing in The Basin.

There's a fair south swell running this weekend so keep that in mind if choosing a rock to fish from.

Beaches up around Culburra / Currarong would be good.
