rjts Posted August 29, 2016 Share Posted August 29, 2016 (edited) Went for a run out from Norah Hd today.Invited a bloke from work Rian who's never gone Kingfish jigging etc before. The Yakkas at Hargraves reef took a fair effort as usual.We went to Texas first.Their were plenty of 4-8kg Kings taking jigs&livies. Quite a few other boats started turning up & with the pros floating drift lines we headed up to the Lobster Grds.There we had 3 much larger schools all to ourselves.Besides Kings their were a few decent reds,mowies & some good size perch. Their were a lot of Barracouta making pests of themselves.The early NW breeze dropped off about 10am,flat as,typical Monday. One of his better Perch.
