Squid spots.

The day is almost upon me to collect the new boat (this Saturday:)) being excited and all I'll be taking it out immediately if not sooner. I would like to take it out for its maiden run on Saturday afternoon for a few squid. I'll be launching it from the Roseville ramp can anyone suggest and decent spots for squid now I'm no longer restricted to land based[emoji847]

I used to do ok for squid around Botany Bay, anywhere I could find kelp. Just look for any kelp beds especially any close to sand.

Good on you ! What boat did you get if I may ask?

100m North of the northbridge rowing club,just past the moored boats. I caught them west side of sugarloaf as well when we moore there overnight. Both good from dusk till dawn. During daytime, Balmoral rocky point would be the go.

Nice boat. I really like Middle Harbour most of the time but it can be a bit slow this time of year. I usually launch at Tunks Park though. For me, Botany Bay is producing better, for now.
