Balmain luderick.

Seeing as the tides were big and the swell unpredictable from two directions and a light wind, I made the call to hit Dawn Fraser pool. It was enough to keep us interested with seven landed and as many dropped, got out before the rain. It's a nice spot but the walk up to the car gives you a nice cardio work out! I think Paul's suffering and cursing me right now!

Nice one mate, I literally 5 minute away from there but never fished there, were you fishing on the pool wharf or the one on the right?

Used to swim there as a kid. Should give it ago for the Luderick as not far from home .I live near Drummoyne Ferry Wharf and yet to give it ago from the Luderick also .

Do you fish off the rocks to the left of the pool?

I tried for some blackies once there off the narrow pier on the other side. No luck but the rocks seemed like a promising spot.

Fish the eastern side off the rock wall below the disabled parking area around high water. It's a hit and miss spot they don't seem to school up there but come in travelling patches. I found Birkenhead Point a better schooling ground

Birkenhead point yes can be a top spot for Luderick when there on. I with Broometime have gotten many a fine fish there at times got my biggest to date there.
