Jewfish in the harbour

Fellow raiders!

Keen on going out for some Jew fish during the week, went out to pullpit point last night and didn't have much luck.

Can anyone recommend and hot spots for jewies on the harbour ? I'm hearing abbotsford is pretty good ?

Also when is best time to go? Does it matter if it's high tide or low tide?

There is a sticky post up here on targeting jewies - give that a read and it should get you started.

Diehard jew fishermen tend to be pretty secretive about locations, so don't expect anyone to offer you up an exact location.

But.. I've heard you can catch them under the harbour bridge on the Nth Sydney side. I've tried a few times no luck but I have a mate who reckons it's a great spot.
