Swampgecko
Out yesterday below Lower Portland, for a few hours. Caught and released 2 good perch and one little estuary cod, all on Hawkesbury prawns. The thumper pictured put up a great fight, no idea of the weight but it realy gave my light gear a workout. Swampgecko
No idea, they were my first estuary perch caught. My father, however, says they are good eating. I am currently into catch and release, apart from bream and flathead.
Day's Fishin
Estuary perch are very bland to eat.( in my opinion) we catch a lot of them in the area you were. Great fighters and well worth fishing for on light tackle. Jeff
