Illawong Point

Hi guys/fishraiders  

I was wondering whether or not anyone had any tips about fishing Illawong point/bay.

I have been there plenty of times however I have not had any luck with any flathead, bonito or flounder that are meant to be there. I have seen one single legal whiting caught there but never caught one myself. I normally use a paternoster rig for bottom fishing and a float+ganged pillies at night and usually catch tailor, bream, big eels and small snapper. Anything I'm doing wrong or maybe the place has been overfished. Any help would be appreciated.
