Outnumbered
while listening to my scanner this morning at 2:45 am a call came over from a cop at the captain cook bridge of a person calling out from a capsized boat, the cop couldnt quite see him and asked for the water police to assist. ok came the reply but it will be a while they have to call out someone. in the meantime another small boat has come by and picked up the boatie. the cop still wants ther water boys out there to try and retrieve the boat. at least the boatie is safe but it would scare the life outta me. hope they save the boat and that it isnt a raider. Edit: sounds like there are two boats involved, water police are now towing "the vessels" over to the pontoon with all people out of the water now. hmmmmm sounds like someone might not have had lights? Guest bluecod
Good they got out OK - if it was a no light issue, I hope they now realise just how dangerous that can be.
