SickWolf Posted February 20, 2018 Share Posted February 20, 2018 Hey guys I'm relatively new to squidding nd I don't know how to use this 8 gram jig I got. it sinks real slow. am I meant to use the jig only? or use a rig with a sinker. FishermanSteve Posted February 20, 2018 Share Posted February 20, 2018 The guys I see catching the most squid use 2 small jigs on a Paternoster rug, small weight at end. Normally white and pink jigs. I'm going land based from Clifton gardens wharf. mate, I don't do much my self but I go and find a bit of structure or weed bottoms and use the 8-gram jig that's what I use mostly and it works. sometimes i just cast of a jetty and get them my best so far is about 42cm long Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
