Fishing rods

I am planning on buying a Diawa BG 4000, and I was wondering what rod I should match up with the BG. 

Any advice would be appreciated.

Depends what you're going to fish mate...Whats the application? Where are you going to fish this rod?

What is your budget? Braid or mono and what rating?

For example, purely for kingfish (mainly off the rocks and wharves) to suit my retrieval style I just bought the BG 5000 with 300m of 50lb YKG jigging braid and matched it with a Daiwa Saltist Hyper 7 foot MH PE 3/5 and 60 - 120 gram lure weight (not to be confused with the Daiwa Saltist Hyper 9'6 2 piece XHS I picked up a few weeks earlier). RRP for rod is close to $300.

off the rocks and beach daiwa crossfire surf rods work well, off boats a shorter rod is better, it all just depends on where its being applied to

yeah im looking for something to use primarily on the rocks and jettys, i dont have a boat
