Great write up, That would be a trip of a lifetime

Never tried trout fishing, but it sure is on the bucket list

Give it a go. Trout don't pull like a decent Kingie or big Snapper but the whole environment and experience is so calm and enjoyable.
My first couple of trips were land based and all you need for that is some light line, 6 or 8lb, a few small hooks, size 6 or 8, a few worms and/or a container of power bait and off you go. If you already have a couple of light outfits you can get the rest of what you need for less than $20. Then go and camp for free on the side of the lake 🙂

What a fantastic report and recap of your of your trip! 10 days straight fishing is not for the faint hearted especially when you encounter adverse conditions! Although, you stuck at it and got your rewards! Well done 👍

cheers scratchie!!!

Read up on how to smoke them and got a few tips from Arthur on the process..

Put in 2 Trout and a Salmon
