bbthefe Posted January 31, 2019 Share Posted January 31, 2019 I was sitting off Jibbon Pt this morning around 7-8am with bait fish jumping everywhere and a small (1.5m) black tip shark carving them up while i cast into the middle without a bite !! I'm still pretty new at this and wondering what sort of rig I should be running and what size hooks ? Should I use plastics or just bait up a some squid or prawns ?? The gear I'm running is just 2 basic Shakespeare and Shimmano rods with Sienna reels and a handline with some shiny lures trailing behind. I'm open to any suggestions on gear and baits to use !! - Any excuse to hit to local tackle shop !!!
