PaddyT Posted March 21, 2019 Share Posted March 21, 2019 Headed up to Coffs for our yearly mackeral hunt on Saturday, good trip as per usual, big spotties up to about 8kg, no spanish but a few were trickling in, got done over by what I assume was a big cobia on light gear (27lb wire we use for spotties wore through), a bag out on small yellowfin tuna and a few muddies thrown in on our "rest day", came back with about 40kg of fillets. a couple of dollies we c&r'd , inshore grounds are really starting to fire.
