Will Wright
Hey guys, I’ve heard a few things about fishing off Clarkes Point (Sydney) It seems as though it’s a good spot for catching kingfish. Anyone got any suggestions or methods to catching kings off this area?
Nyxy
I haven't been fishing at Clarkes Point in a year but I am going down this week with my scout group to do a fishing night. im going to use prawns/mullet on my 6lb setup and then lures on my 20lb setup. havent got any experience catching kings from there but i do see the odd school on the surface round there. ill add more to this post later after i get home from school. kingie chaser
Kings can be anywhere in the harbour or its rivers/estuaries at any location or time. You just have to be in the right place at the right time & use whatever for bait that they are in the mood for. No answers from me but hey throw out a stick bait & you might get on, throw out a livey on a balloon & you might get on, throw out a metal or SP & you never know, life is like a box of chocolates......……………………. & so is catching kingfish. Will Wright
I might have a go with some stick baits while heavily burleying.
