fishii
Hi After using soft plastics for bream flathead on a light setup. I noticed the braid line twisting while replacing fluro . Would like to know if it better to have fluro connected to a snap swivel and then to the jighead? Or is it best to have fluro connect to jighead itself? Any downsides to the braid twisting over a period of time ? Would like to know your thoughts . Thanks
Green Hornet
Never, ever have I had issues with braid twisting up while using plastics. My tip would be make sure you rig your plastics straight and they won't spin in the water. With braid being so limp, unless you are using quite heavy line it won't have the "torque" to twist a swivel anyway.

JonD
I'm another who doesn't have issues with braid twist using plastics, micro jigs or full sized jigs.
James Clain
I noticed that tying leader knots can twist your line a bit so try and make sure you get the twists out if you do a knot.
kingie chaser
How was the line loaded or 'spooled' onto the reel?? If spooled incorrectly the line will be loaded with a twist. Also reeling in the line while in drag can also cause the line to twist

Also if the line roller on your reel isn't spinning freely enough, you're in for trouble with line twist.
