Hey guys,

A few of my mates and I are thinking of hiring a boat at Brooklyn this weekend and spending the day on the river fishing for really anything. I'll have 1 rod out for jewies in a rod holder and my other lighter rod in my hand for the smaller species. The last time we did this was this time last year and I managed to catch a legal jewie so hoping to make this an annual tradition. I was wondering if you guys could guide me in the right direction where I could catch some fresh baits like yakkas and squid. We'll be having a burley trail out - got some leftover pilchards from my last fishing trip in the freezer as well as a lot of leftover bread and stuff from Christmas
