phild
Hey,i was just wondering if anyone has ever fished there and caught anything. Are there many fishing spots? (i will be using soft plastics) thnks in advance G day mate i grew up round that area but havent fished it for a while species to catch include: Leatheries good breaming (probably the premier sp.) flatties occsanionally ludrick (again a great standby) tailor occsaionally and trevas occasionally i have seen school jew taken hear and old timers told me it used to be a reliable jew spot they even said decent reds were pulled from this area, now I think you just get pinkies. Plenty of bait fish , yakkas etc. because its private land its hard to find a decent Lnad based spot and now Im pretty sure the wharf at N. B would be of limits too. IMO theres better and easier spots to fish from land nearby. Hope that helps
pjfrad
Hey,i was just wondering if anyone has ever fished there and caught anything. Are there many fishing spots? (i will be using soft plastics) thnks in advance Hey, I used to fish on the sand flats in shellcove alot when I lived down that way (about 6 months ago). You can get whitting on the flats and Bream and Flathead on the flats and the dropoff. I have also often found tailor feeding just off the dropoff and the respond well to flies and lure. Take a look at: http://www.shorefishingaustralia.com.au/Lo...gion®ionID=3 Shell cove is on there. Hope this helps Peter

(like rising or falling) Thanks again I used to find that just before high tide, as the fish move up over the flats and then off the drop off as the tide moves out and the fish wait to catch food washing off the flats.
