Fishing/prawing/crabbing Lake Macquarie And The Narabeen Lakes

hows it going

going camping on lake mac in a few days and have never been there before so dont no wot to expect

will be going off land close to where we're staying in belmont, might hire a boat at some stage too but predominantly going off land

is the fishing around the area pretty good there this time of year? also we were wondering if we would be able to go prawning, altho i have no idea how to do that ive never gone prawning before.......also would it be worth setting a few crab traps 4 sum blue swimmers?

sorry 4 the naivety i just have no idea

also, thinking of going fishing with my brother at the narabeen lakes tomorrow near the camping ground there, is the fishing there any good? and would it be worth setting some crab traps there too?
