Its got PE 1.2 braid on it (~20lb) and i need a rod for it. Im looking to use it to cast around bigger vibes and bigger soft plastics ie 5-6 inch jerkshads etc. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Too many to go into, so suggest you visit your local tackle store and take the reel with you and fit it to as many different rods and see haw it balances out. The store owner should assist if they want a sale. I would start looking at around 7 foot in the 5-8 kg range medium taper. Tell the shop assistant your budget and good luck with your search.
