Kilgore121
Very foggy start to day - fog all the way from Cowan Creek to West Head - light westerly breeze, calm seas. Schools of bait frequently encountered, a mixture of yakkas and slimies. Anchored at my secret snapper spot (unfortunately spot also a secret not known by snapper most of the time). Four stud Port Jackson sharks ate livies and pilchards. About 12 red bream up to a single legal sized one caught - this too was released. Most were 25-28 cm , hopefully a sign of better things looking ahead. No surface activity. Despite the lack of anything worth keeping, an enjoyable outing and back on land by midday.
