ianoc69
Had a 1.5 hour session at Putney Park this morning and managed a mix of small to medium bream and baby Lizards but the highlight was a 35cm Whiting on a Berkley 2" Grub. PB for me - actually it is my first whiting on SP's and saves me the embarrasment of my 10yo son whom caught 2x Whiting on SP's recently at LCR. Gave a good account of itself. Not quite big enough to beat Kens 40cm record but a personal pleasure in any case

ianoc69
For your sake I hope you let them all go! Yeah it was catch n release. All of my morning sessions are catch n release - good for working on technique etc. Although being forced to have a fishing license is frustrating when we are told that fish are unsuitable for eating in the harbour, parra etc. Every so often it is nice to have the opportubity to take home a catch for the pan.
