  3. Hey fellow raiders. I'm coming back to Sydney . I'm flying in on 8th April and plan to hang around for a few years at least. Looking forward to catching up with my ol' eastern stater fishing mates and nailing some kingies.. See you soon. For those who have forgotten, me and my Fishraider Trophy look like this...
  4. Hey sharky, have a great b'day mate, or as best you can with a cold. I hear a few does wonders for it.
  5. Nice haul slayer. I sure miss those kingies
  6. Hey all fishraiders, Got back to Perth last night after a loooooong flight. The screaming twin infants sitting behind me didnt make the trip any shorter either . Its a good thing im a man on increadible patients. Been here less than 24 hrs and im already itching to get back to Sydney. Id like to thank all the fishraiders who have made my stay so great. A special thanks for making my trip over east so great goes to Mr and Mrs Outnumbered, Mr and Mrs Swordfisherman, Sharky, Crazedfisherdude, Tun'o'fun, Hatheadheaven and everyone else that provided a wealth of knowledge and great friendships. What started out as a 2 month internship turned out to be a fantastic fishing experience (with some work experience in between wetting lines). So thanks all (including those who I haven't mentioned, eg. Kenmare, slayer666, Mondo, Ozeash, Madsmc, Kikila, just to name a few) miss all your company already and i'll see you all again in 12 months time. In the mean time i'll just go ahead and post some whopping WA fish pics up.
  7. Hi all, Im interested to know what people favourite fishing videos are. I've only got the berkley sp promo video that came with a box of assorted sp's. Its got Mad Dog Royter (a rather appropriate name for a guy who gets VERY excited about fishing), 1/2 is too salesy but the other 1/2 is very informative.
  8. geez, thats the smallest beer can i've every seen
  9. top report mate. thats a very healthy looking salmon, and the breams a nice size too
  10. thats the funniest thing ive seen in a while
  11. did you know Harrison Ford is making a 4th Indiana Jones, how cool is that. ps its from Raiders of the Lost Ark. The second best trilogy ever thats a really cool trick. but can you make their clothes dissapear the the actors stay there. I bet outnumbered can.

  13. Hey all. I'll be rocking up up at about 7:30, maybe 8 if I cant get away from work earlier. Hang on, last day... Somehow I think i'll be there at 7:30. Looking forward to seeing all who can make. Ill have to make sure to bring the camera for some blackmail pho.. er happy snaps.
  14. None whatsoever. May work out better anyway.
  15. Thanks for the congrats guys. Brian if you ever want to give up your day job you should take up chartering. You'd get a strong recommendation from me. First day out I bag my first kingie, second day out I blast my flattie PB away with the 65cm . He was well fed too. Stomache was chokkers and he had loads of flesh on him. Must admit I was just a BIT startled when he started flapping around after I cleaned him . I've heard of running around like a headless chicken but never flapping about like a gutless flattie! Anyhoo thanks for a teriffic couple of trips, a kinggie, great company, loads of tips and a PB and i'll see you on Saturday for a few bevvies
  16. Damn sharky thats seriously creative. The Jewies should jump on that out of pure respect for your dedication and effort alone. Isnt it funny the ingenuity we go to in order to trick a fish with a brain the size of a shrivled pea.
  17. That is one of the craziest things i've ever seen. Look at the size of that mutha!!!
  18. hey all, definitely put me down as a deckie. can do anything and bring everything. would love to get out and bag a jewie big time
  19. plus the toadies cant bite through them . That should reduce the number of chunks taken out of your feet.
  20. Met hatheadheaven and crazedfisherdude down at figtree bridge on saturday morning for my first sp session. After only a few casts and a few chomps from toadies I bagged my first fish on a plastic A flattie. Ended up getting 2 of the blighters. Bumped into two other fishraiders down there as well. This led to the discussion that we should have hats or badges. I bet we'd see them everywhere. All up is was a great morning at a beautiful spot. Thanks for the tutelage Simon. (ps got the photo?)
  21. sounds like a top event. anyone need a deckie let me know. will pay fuel, food, booze and bait + anything else needed.
  22. well done on the catch. If you're going down any weekends soon and want company let me know. Im always keen to see new parts of Sydney and am a keen lure newbie.
  23. Definitely count me in. Bagging a Mulloway would be yet another first for me.
  24. Well done bud. Having popped my kingie cherry recently I know what a great feeling it is. Keep up the good work mate. And you're right, Fishraiders are great people.
