Wamberal Beach

Hey guys,

After a long stint of kayak fishing I have recently started chasing the almighty jewfish. I live around Avoca and was hoping maybe someone would be able to confirm for me that you can catch jewies off the beach up Wamberal way? I know they are further north for sure but was hoping to catch them closer to home. The gutters aren't huge there so i'd imagine high tide is a must either on the run in or run out. I will be throwing soft plastics too, unless anyone would like to recommend a killer hardbody!
