Good day raiders, thank you all for your help got ther Sunday morning at low tide tryed pumping some nippers (lasted about 20 mins) geeze im not as fit as i thought, so getting some poddies looked a good thing, 20mins gone and 8 poddies in the bucket, and just about totaly buggered after chasing the trap down the creek for the umteenth time, it was time for a fish. headed down creek just across from the large sand bar, fished untill could not hold bottom any more (it rips through there) for 1 bream caught on prawn Not the best fishing day ive encountered but would have to have been one of the most tranquel and relaxing days ive had in a long time. There is a little wharf at Luna Park right in front of the roller coaster always a good feed of Leatherjackets No 12 size long shank hook and a peeled prawn should do the trick. Gaff

What made me feel worse was the fact that i just started a new fishing club and that was our first trip out, anyway on a up note we caught 7 good size squid in about 25mins at Middle Harbour on the right hand side just before you enter the Harbour itself, (hope that makes sense mate) Gaff

Good day fellow fisho's, went out on a long awaited trip with no no no (Fishabout Tours) on Monday 2/5/2005 hoping for some King fish we caught the fresh squid OK but thats as far as it goes, did not turn a handle all day. Well thats fishing Gaff

The train stops at Hawkesbury river station right across the road from Brooklyn Marina there is a little shop to the right of the station next to the anglers rest hotel that used to sell fresh squid and prawns. good luck Gaff

Not a bad spot there beside the bridge small tides make for better fishing as it can get hard to hold bottom. Good luck Gaff
